I may consider myself a happy person because I had a nice and lovely teacher in my first year in the kindergarten. We called her Mme Ligia. I wish she had a very happy life. She deserved it.

What a beautiful story, Miss Connie will be remembered for many years to come. She touched the hearts of many children that are now grown ups.

The amazingly professional actress that played Miss Connie showed an outpouring of all the the sympathy, compassion, love and tenderness imaginable.

Wow, at eighty-three, she made me remember Miss Calvert, my caring first-grade teacher at Steven F. Austin Grade School, San Angelo, Texas (1935).

Thank you for all the caring, wonderful teachers out there that dedicate their lives to children. You have to love children to be a good, loving teacher.
